Artist: Caroline Sand

Bio: Caroline Sand is one of the Artist Elders of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. She was born and raised here on the old agency. She enjoys sewing, she designs all kinds of beautiful regalia for Pow-wow dance outfits, purses, diaper bags and etc. She spends her time sewing for family, relatives and friends as she gets requests from them. Caroline said, ‘’What keeps me going is the children.’’
