An enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe with Mexican heritage, Johnny Blanco joined the Cheyenne River Youth Project as an administrative assistant shortly after earning his high school diploma in March 2026.
Johnny is a graduate of CRYP’s Youth Employment Initiative training program. Because the campus has long felt like a second home to him, he brings a deep sense of pride and care to maintaining and managing the organization’s facilities.
Outside of his administrative role, Johnny is passionate about technology and hands-on hobbies. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, working on computers and riding his motorcycle. Looking to the future, Johnny plans to pursue a degree in information technology to further advance his skills.
