As a Mnicoujou Lakota Woman, Danielle Reynolds emphasizes the importance of her Lakota culture into every aspect of her work and life. She grew up in Bismarck, North Dakota with her parents and three siblings before her family made the move back to the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation. She attended and graduated from Timber Lake High School. During her gap year between high school and college, Danielle spent time working in a pharmacy then transferred to her job as Youth Program Assistant at Cheyenne River Youth Project. She worked for the summer of 2021 at CRYP, then attended Fort Lewis College for the Fall 2021 to Spring 2022 academic year. She is studying Native American and Indigenous Studies with a minor in Sociology. She hopes to earn her degree to continue working within Indigenous Communities to provide as much help and support to better her people.
